Kids Fish Camp by the Friends of Lopez Lake

The Santa Maria Times did an article on the Free Kids Fish Camp sponsored by the Friends of Lopez Lake and I was lucky enough to capture the even for them. The fish camp teaches all the basics of fishing, from how to tie a Palomar knot, to properly casting your line, to conservation, like only taking what you are going to eat.  This is put on at the Nature Center at Lopez Lake.
