I freelance for the Santa Maria Times and it's sister papers, Times Press Recorder, Lompoc Record, Santa Ynez Valley News, and the Adobe Press. I urge you to take a look at the local papers to find out more about our community.  It is very different doing photojournalism than pictures for anything else. The only editing I really do is cropping and lightening/darkening. That's about it. It seems almost too easy and simple. I guess I'm just used to doing weddings and portraits.
